I grew up in a small seaside town where the ocean stretched endlessly beyond the horizon, and life moved at its own gentle pace. Looking back, that place taught me to slow down, pay attention, and find meaning in the moments most people overlook. Those lessons never left me, and they've shaped the way I photograph today.

As much as I value preserving memories, I believe their greatest value lies in living them first.

The greatest compliment I receive isn't about the photographs themselves. It's hearing that people felt comfortable, present, and free to enjoy their day without feeling like they were performing for a camera. When people feel at ease, real moments have room to unfold, and those are the moments that matter most.

Photography, for me, has never been about perfection. It's about preserving feeling. Creating photographs that allow you to return not only to what the day looked like, but to what it felt like.

Most people spend their lives trying to hold on to moments like these. I've built mine around helping people be fully present in them and creating photographs that bring them back long after the day is over.

When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me spending time with my teenage daughter, Lily, and our hopelessly spoiled cat, Aku.
